In October 2007 a new pre-treatment requirement was imposed under the landfill regulations. Business waste now has to be pre-treated to minimise the amount of materials sent to landfill sites.
Sauce Consultancy and Valpak Ltd are running a free to attend workshop informing businesses about the pre-treatment requirements. This morning event will include guidance and advice on the legislation from the Enviroment Agency and other industry bodies, as well as practical information on recycling and minimising waste.
This event is aimed at users and producers of packaging from retail, manufacturing and construction.
