March 2001

This quick reference booklet helps printers to use good environmental practices to save money and to demonstrate their 'green' credentials to customers. It explains how printers can benefit from minimising their environmental impact and presents a numbered checklist of questions that will provoke further thought and action. It also signposts readers to further information. Sections are dedicated to print production methods and reducing their impact, and to methods of reducing the impact of transport. Other Sections cover the use of chemicals, noise generation and emissions to air, water and land.
