This Good Practice Guide is intended to help operations managers, facilities managers and property owners involved in shopping centre management to achieve cost and other benefits through taking a systematic approach to waste minimisation. The Guide describes a range of no-cost and low-cost measures to help shopping centre managers reduce waste in the key areas of packaging, water and energy. It is complemented by Profiting from Waste Reduction in Retail Stores (GG325).
