This leaflet provides surface finishing companies of all sizes with an idea of the types of key performance indicators (KPIs) they could use to help them save money by improving their environmental performance. Many more suggested KPIs for the surface finishing sector are given on the Envirowise website. The KPIs cover raw material use and re-use (coatings, chemicals and organic solvents), product, water use, solid waste, emissions to air, effluent, energy, packaging and transport.
