What can I do?
The waste hierarchy identifies possible waste disposal options and ranks them in order of increasing environmental impact. The aim is to work your way up the hierarchy from disposal until you end up eliminating all waste where possible.
The way that you currently deal with waste will indicate the stage you are at on the hierarchy. Organisations should aspire to work their way up the hierarchy with the aim of turning the 4% of turnover into profit.
