Events
Envirowise can co-host UK events of all sizes that are aimed at helping businesses make cost savings through improved resource efficiency. For joint ventures Envirowise can also help with marketing and promotion of the event.
Envirowise speakers
Speakers can be supplied for events free of charge. An Envirowise advisor can give presentations on technical resource efficiency issues or a member of the management team can introduce the wider aims and context of the programme.
Mail-outs
Envirowise publications have been developed to help businesses improve performance. If a business support organisation wishes to promote specific issues to its members and stakeholders, Envirowise can assist and would welcome enquiries.
Workshop Support
Envirowise has produced free CD-ROMs providing guidance on hosting workshops on specific issues. Topics of particular interest to the food and drink sector may be ‘Waste minimisation’, ‘Maintaining the momentum’, ‘Packaging’ and ‘Water’. These can be ordered from the Advice Line.
Benchmarking
Envirowise is currently working with Dairy UK to generate key performance indicators for the sector. Data from participating companies (used with express permission) to generate indicators to help all companies in the sector. Envirowise will expand this approach with willing partners from other producer groups in the food and drink industry.p>
Newsletters and Websites
Envirowise has an array of recent news and information and can provide interesting articles for newsletters and websites. Links to partner organisations can be added to the Envirowise website to reflect joint working activities.
