Companies in the South East could soon be seeing pound signs thanks to a new online savings calculator that allows them to discover the potential savings they would make by cutting their waste.
Launched by Envirowise, the free savings calculator is part of a campaign to encourage office-based businesses to put profit back into the business rather than seeing it waste away. Businesses simply input a few basic details to the calculator to reveal what sort of savings they could make on costs such as paper, ink, waste disposal, water, heating and transport.
The savings calculator can be found on www.maximiseprofit.org.uk - a new easy to access web-based resource set up by Envirowise to help office-based businesses minimise waste and maximise profit. The user-friendly guidance provides businesses with straightforward, affordable ways to reduce waste. It also includes information on how to arrange a free, confidential visit (Ireland, Scotland and Wales only) from an Envirowise expert to identify low cost, high value solutions and help get your waste minimisation programme started.
