Businesses in the North West can take a big step towards cutting office waste and saving money - by using a free CD-ROM based toolkit available from Envirowise.
The Green Officiency CD-ROM provides a step-by-step guide to help office-based businesses reduce waste and the use of common resources such as paper, water and energy. A savings calculator establishes just how much an individual company could potentially save - which could be as much as £200 per employee. 1
So if every office in the North West takes advantage of the toolkit and improves resource efficiency, the region as a whole could save an impressive £490 million. 2
The toolkit also includes printable posters and presentations that can be used to help managers promote the benefits of improving resource efficiency.
