About Envirowise

Envirowise is a Government-funded programme dedicated to putting the sustainable use of resources at the heart of UK business practice.

It offers businesses of all sizes and sectors a wide range of free, independent and practical advice designed to genuinely improve their processes, profitability and competitiveness.

As a result, since its launch in 1994, Envirowise has helped UK businesses save well over £1Bn by enabling them to significantly reduce their environmental impact.

Envirowise's focus is at the top of the Waste Hierarchy, encouraging UK business to eliminate or reduce their use of raw materials, water and energy, and to reuse them wherever possible, in order to create leaner, less costly processes that minimise environmental impact. This is Resource Efficiency.
