Envirowise in partnership with Chemicals Northwest is providing a unique opportunity for companies to learn and understand how resource efficiency can be made easy and achievable within the chemicals using sector.

Achieving resource efficiency can often be perceived as being a complicated and confusing task, with the added difficulty of not knowing which support organisations are available to help. Resource efficiency, sustainability, ‘being green’ are fast becoming the  ‘buzz’ words in an ever increasing environmentally aware society, and importantly for industry key business performance gains are now being realised, and in some cases to great benefits.

This one day conference will feature presentations by environmental specialists, and by North West companies discussing practical examples of how cost savings have been achieved. Importantly, the presentations will further discuss the key challenges these companies now face. There will also be an opportunity to participate in interactive workshops covering the latest technologies (Green Chemistry Toolkits), available support organisations in the North West and how to manage effective water use and effluent treatment.

The event is aimed at all businesses and companies within the chemical using sector, and will focus on helping you to identify, manage and achieve resource efficiency. It will be of particular use to process managers, environmental managers and officers, senior executives and engineers.
