Many of the buzz words flying around society at the moment include "going green" or "environmentally friendly", but what exactly does it mean and how can you benefit from it? Positive Impact is a not-for-profit project set up to educate the event industry on "sustainability".

Envirowise are supporting these events, and speaking within the Onsite Sustainability and Energy and Emissions Workshops

Who should attend?

If you are a venue, supplier, meeting or event professional, this project will deliver practical guidance on how your company can benefit from sustainability through a variety of topics, from measuring waste to implementing the new BS 8901 management system.

This summer series will include the following 5 workshops

4 - Creating a Sustainable Destination

5 - BS 8901 Masterclass

The BS 8901 Masterclass will bring together BS 8901 experts to answer your questions. Experts from British Standards Institute will give delegates the opportunity to work in groups with others who are at the same level of implementation of BS 8901. Experts will provide guidance on implementing the standard and achieving certification.
