This Guide has been revised and updated since its original publication in the 1990s. Waste minimisation clubs (also known as resource efficiency clubs) have proved to be a successful way of encouraging companies to cut costs and improve environmental performance. This Guide details the stages involved in setting up and running a successful waste minimisation club, suggests the benefits to a company of being involved and how to go about achieving shared goals. It is designed to provide help both to organisations just starting a club and to those where the club’s development is at a later stage.
