benefits to Speciality Coatings of green chemistry include: replacing a hazardous substance with a non-hazardous alternative, annual raw material cost savings of around £144,000, reduced exposure of employees to hazardous substances, lower VOC and CO/CO2 emissions from the site and a reduction in the amount of hazardous waste generated on site.
