Water efficiency awards
The Environment Agency is delighted to announce the Water Efficiency Awards 2007. These recognise organisations that cut down on water use, helping to conserve our precious water resources. Envirowise is pleased to be supporting the Awards again this year and encourages any businesses that have made water savings to make an application. The closing date for applications is 31st August 2006, and the Awards are presented in London, March 2007.

Business Commitment to the Environment (BCE) Awards
Applications for the Business Commitment to the Environment (BCE) Awards 2006 are now being accepted. This is the oldest environmental award scheme, set up over thirty years ago by the late Sir Peter Parker to recognise the positive contribution of UK business to the environment.
Applications are open to UK companies of any size and sector that encourage environmental practices helping to conserve natural resources and reduce waste pollution.
To apply, visit the BCE website to download an application form. The closing date for applications is 15th September 2006.
