
'Household name' companies often have excellent environmental policies - and the resources to implement them. But they also have a whole network of smaller suppliers who may not have the staff, time or money to give priority to becoming more resource efficient on their own. Envirowise successfully helps suppliers and their customers to make savings and environmental improvements for all.
4 years ago, Envirowise began working with retailers and their suppliers. We believed we could help make significant savings and environmental efficiencies if we liaised with suppliers as well as the 'big' retailers, encouraging collaboration throughout the supply chain. Since this pilot, we've deepened relationships with these pioneer companies and gone on to partner with more. We've also moved into other sectors, such as food & drink, construction, engineering (most recently in Scotland) and the public sector in Wales.
