Tees Valley businesses wanting to improve their environmental performance now have a new resource at their fingertips – www.greenteesvalley.org. The web site has been created by Tees Valley Green Business Network, which is led by a range of organisations with an interest in helping local businesses to be more resource efficient. Envirowise is part of the Network and the website incorporates information and advice from the programme.
The website enables businesses to find local organisations that can assist them, while also providing information ranging from setting up environmental management systems, reducing energy bills, managing resources efficiently and where to find funding. Members are also dedicated to helping businesses implement efficiency measures, and supporting an environmentally aware business culture within the region.
