Sustainable Practices for Sustainable Profits in the Manufacturing Sector

Manufacturing businesses in North Yorkshire are being given the opportunity to find out about environmental issues affecting their business, the benefits of reviewing current practices and strategies to improve their bottom line. 'Sustainable Practices Sustainable Profits is an interactive workshop presented by Envirowise, in association with Business Link York and North Yorkshire.
The workshop will enable delegates from all sectors of the manufacturing industry to understand the fundamental principles of resource efficiency and find out what free help and support is available from Envirowise.
Topics for the event include:

- How to assess the true cost of waste and improve the bottom line
- How to review how resource efficient the business is
- Simple measures to save money
The Sustainable Practices Sustainable Profits workshop will take place on 5 March 2008, 1.30pm - 4.30pm, at Green Gables Hotel, Scarborough.
Business Link York & North Yorkshire will charge £36+VAT per person for these workshops
