This CD-ROM has been produced to help companies reduce waste and costs whilst increasing competitiveness. It is designed for business support organisations and intermediaries who wish to run workshops on key aspects of waste minimisation. The seven workshops cover: waste minimisation, maintaining momentum, packaging, water, solvents, cleaner design and improved process control. Each gives practical advice on low-cost measures and simple actions that companies can take to improve the environment and reduce costs. The material includes information such as speaker notes and a range of Microsoft© PowerPoint© presentations that can be customised to meet the particular needs of an audience. NB The workshop on improved process control assumes a good working knowledge of the subject matter.
