Businesses in the East Midlands are spread across a diverse range of sectors with real estate, renting and business activities accounting for almost a quarter of all the VAT registered business stock. The manufacturing and construction sectors in the region account for a greater proportion of businesses than the UK average.

Our aim is to help businesses from all sectors save money through resource efficiency. To do this, we often work with partner programmes, such as Business Link, to ensure businesses receive the support they need.
