South East
Envirowise works closely with the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) to assist the South East in achieving sustainable prosperity. Envirowise is working in active regional partnerships to support and contribute to the implementation of key RES priority actions focussed on resource efficiency and enabling the region to progress on the pathway towards zero waste.
There are over 300,000 VAT registered businesses in the South East with the highest concentrations of people employed in the service, hospitality, commerce, health and education sectors. In addition to these sectors, with the increase in housing developments, construction remains one of the key environmental focuses for the region along with water and how the South East is addressing the impact of drought and flood.
We aim to help businesses of all sectors in the South East save money through resource efficiency and provide support that meets their needs. To do this we often work with other local partners besides SEEDA to ensure businesses receive the support they need. These pages provide you with information on regional Envirowise events and information about help that is available through our partners.
If you're interested in becoming a regional partner, have specific issues you would like to see covered in our events programme, or want to share your successes with other businesses contact your Envirowise Regional Manager.
