The first ever BigSplash Campaign has recently been launched by the Envirowise team in Northern Ireland. The programme provides companies with free tailored support on how to reduce water use and achieve cost savings.
With water costs becoming an increasing pressure on Northern Ireland business, reducing water usage makes sound business sense. Following a very successful Water Efficiency event held in Northern Ireland in March, eight companies have been invited to become BigSplash members.
The first phase of the programme involves a BigSplash visit where an Envirowise Advisor will provide specific water minimisation recommendations to help the company cut usage and cost. This will be followed by specific training sessions to set measurable targets for achieving savings, one- to-one follow up, and nomination for a best achiever company as a demonstrator company.
BigSplash visits will be scheduled throughout the Autumn and will hopefully result in significant cost savings and reductions in water usage across the province.
