Envirowise Wales has launched an Indicator tool to help Welsh businesses understand where they can act to reduce their carbon footprint and capitalise on the commercial benefits that come from improved use of resources.
The Envirowise Indicator Tool has been developed specifically for Wales in conjunction with a leading ecological footprinting company. It allows every single business - regardless of size or industry sector - to gain a useful indication of ecological footprints resulting from the levels of resource that they use and the waste they create.
In the process of reducing their contribution to climate change, companies often improve efficiency, lower costs and increase competitiveness. The Envirowise Indicator has been designed as a highly valuable and flexible aid in this process.
