What do I need to do to arrange a FastTrack?

To give you the best service, we need a certain level of commitment from you.

If you are not quite sure about committing to making an application for an FastTrack visit (available in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales) and would like to discuss it, please call the Advice Line on 0800 585 794.

If you are genuinely interested in making the most of this service, you will need to provide us with three things:

A champion

Someone who will be leading this initiative, with whom we can liaise with in advance and on the day to ensure the Envirowise experience is a success for you.

Information

To choose the most appropriate advice for your needs, we need to know more about your business. This includes the size and main activities of your company, as well as information about your raw materials, waste streams and utilities, including water. For guidance on gathering information please refer to the guide GG414 Measuring to Manage: the key to reducing waste costs.

Costs and quantities

This information is vital for our advisors to apply their expertise to identify and quantify resource efficiency actions and savings.

For us to give you the best possible advantage from Envirowise we need to collect as much information and data as possible. Your application will be assessed and we will be in touch to discuss the outcome of the assessment. You may also, be contacted to add further information, or to discuss particular issues you raise on your application.

Based on your application and possible discussion we will arrange the most appropriate assistance to meet your needs. This may be, or a combination of, an on site visit, advice over the telephone from an expert advisor, Envirowise guides, notification of events or seminars. If an on site visit is appropriate it is important that you or a colleague has access to any purchasing and utility records our advisor may feel is additionally relevant to the on site visit. Submission on an application does not guarantee an on site visit.
