On November 10th 2003, Envirowise held a press briefing, supported by DTI and DEFRA, to alert the electronics media to the implications of the forthcoming WEEE and ROHS Directives.
The press briefing was the first step in an Envirowise campaign to raise industry awareness of the multi-million-pound impact that the WEEE and ROHS Directives will have on UK business. The briefing launched two new guides, aimed at senior management, that explain the issues and actions that companies need to take now.
