Food and Drink Essentials: Environmental Information for the Industry - EN343

This Guide helps to signpost the publications available from Envirowise to help food and drink companies cut the cost of waste, often through no-cost and low-cost measures. Key publications are listed for: resource efficiency; packaging; water and effluent; solid waste/materials; and cleaner technology/process management. A fax back form is provided to request any of the publications listed, or to obtain details of site visits* and workshops. In most cases, it is possible to reduce waste costs by 10%, sometimes more, through simple measures. Consider the impact this would have on profits: 1% of turnover straight to the bottom line.
