Abstract
These guidelines are designed to help any UK business measure its water use and discharges, detect possible leaks and establish water costs. The publication also provides some possible improvements which can be made within a business. Guidance is also provided on setting targets, achieving savings and improving performance and competitiveness. Guidance on reporting performance to shareholders, consumers and other stakeholders is also provided in addition to information on how to carry out a water audit.
