- This guidance document is intended to provide a clear structure and methodology which operators of food and drink factories should follow to ensure that all aspects of the PPC Regulations and other relevant regulations have been addressed in the preparation of an IPPC application. The document takes an integrated approach to pollution prevention and considers water minimisation measures in a wider context. The document supplements the information in the European IPPC Bureau BREF for this sector.
